Dana Matheson receives 2017 Business Excellence Award

Before a packed house of about 350 people at the Cascades Casino in Langley, C&D Logistics president and CEO, Dana Matheson, was recognized not only for all the work he does as a business owner but also for his philanthropic endeavours. Dana received two awards that evening: the first being awarded to Dana and the second being awarded to C&D Logistics.

George Preston Memorial Business Person of the Year Award

Dana’s first award of the evening was the George Preston Memorial Business Person of the Year Award, which is awarded to a businessperson who has provided exceptional support to the Langley community. Over the years, Dana has served as the president of the Langley Rams junior football club; as a board member with the Life Ready Foundation, which works with at-risk youth; and he also founded the Fraser Valley Family Day, which has been held at the Langley Events Centre for the past few years. To date, he has donated more than $1 million to over 250 charities and organizations, and he was no plan of slowing down anytime soon.

Service Excellence Award for the Retail and Service Sector

In addition to Dana being awarded the George Preston Memorial Business Person of the Year Award, he also accepted an award for C&D Logistics. C&D Logistics won the Service Excellence Award for the retail and service sector, which recognizes local businesses that demonstrate exceptional commitment to excellence and customer service. The team at C&D Logistics is extremely proud and grateful for having received this award as a team, and we promise to continue to improve upon our customer service because we know that a company’s customer service can never be too good.
